Carolyn and Wendy have been collegaues and friends for the last 15 years, jointly providing Occupational Health and Physiotherapy services for many diverse industries in and around the High Peak. Together they have consistently delivered a highly respected and greatly appreciated service, and with their wealth of experience, they are well equipped to expand their professional services to a much wider audience. Peak Occupational Health in Whaley Bridge is therefore Wendy and Carolyn’s new and expanding business which offers quality health surveillance for small and medium sized companies, at a competitive cost.
Carolyn Marks
Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Birmingham. She worked as a clinician specialising in Musculoskeletal Injuries and Rehabilitation in the NHS for 22 years. Carolyn became Therapy Services Manager at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. Alongside this, she managed her own Private Physiotherapy Practice which provided treatment rehabilitation to employees in industry. She then moved into Physiotherapy within Occupational Health in Industry and has 15 years’ extensive experience in treating patients in Manufacturing.
Wendy Turner
​Qualified as a Registered Nurse at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Wendy then worked in the NHS for 15 years in Coronary Care, after which she transferred into training for Nursing within Occupational Health gaining 20 years extensive training and experience in both the public and private sectors within Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals.
