It is prudent to offer New-Starter Assessments to all potential employees to ensure that any adjustments required by that individual for disability are implemented by the company, prior to them commencing work.

This is a simple, subjective pass/fail test for respiratory protection equipment (disposable and reusable half masks) to ensure that they are fit for purpose, seal around the face and therefore protect the user from harmful dust or fumes.

We can provide drug and alcohol testing (urine and breath test analysis) either for pre-employment purposes, or in response to due company concern (reasonable suspicion, or post-accident incident). We can provide this as an onsite service if required.

These assessments involve medical tests, checking immunisation records and physical examination, to ensure that employees working in the food industry are free from conditions that can transmit food born illnesses.
