Access Policy

Peak Occupational Health office is based in the centre of Whaley Bridge High Peak and serves all companies locally and all those based within Derbyshire and Cheshire.

 

Peak Occupational Health is committed to providing access to Occupational Health assessment services to all company employees requiring Health Surveillance under the directive of the HSE and COSHH regulations UK. We believe in equal access for all.

 

The office is located near Whaley Bridge railway station on the Buxton-Stockport railway line. There is parking for cars at the rear and front of the building. Parking restrictions apply under local authority rules. Bus routes run through Whaley Bridge linking the location to other villages and the towns of Macclesfield and Stockport.

It is the responsibility of all clinicians/ A&C staff for non-discrimination within Peak Occupational Health and all individuals engaging with the service. Staff will attend regular mandatory equality and diversity training.

The office is situated on the ground floor with disabled wheelchair access and toilet facilities.

 

Individuals who require an interpreter can be accommodated with agreement from their company employer.

 

All company employees are welcome into the Peak Occupational Health assessment service, once their company is under contract with Peak Occupational Health.

 

Any employee/ staff request for referral to Peak Occupational Health should by made through their company Health & Safety, or HR Department. Any referral must be accompanied by an informed, signed consent form.
